I did the best I could today considering I feel like my head is going to explode. I have such a bad head cold, along with chills, fever, and the usual tummy issues. I went to the gym at lunch today and I managed to run 1 mile, followed by a 1.5 mile walk.
In between clients and phone calls, I redid the blog (again). I was debating going back to Blogger, but I’m gonna try to stick it out here. I just wish WordPress was more user-friendly with settings, fonts, design, etc… And I mean without having to pay for upgrades. Ugh.
Anyways, after work I stopped at the grocery store. After not having eaten anything all day, that was probably not a great idea <grin> but I managed to stick to my list and didn’t get any “junk” food.
I got home, took Lucy for her walk, and then threw together a quick dinner: Amy’s Refried beans, roasted red peppers, and onions. I made a chipotle sauce out of Vegenaise, Liquid Smoke, smoked paprika, and Chipotle chili powder. Usually when I make this I’ll use scallions instead of onions, and black beans instead of refried beans, but this tasted pretty good! I added a cup of Minute Whole Grain Medley (love that stuff!) and then put in a handful of tortilla chips. I meant to take a picture, but I ate it all in the blink of an eye ;)
Now it’s time for medicine and Netflix. I’m on Season 5 of Doctor Who and desperately missing David Tennant! I blame this all on you, Tammy! :)
